Dark Skies Over Lake Lila

Description

This image was captured from the edge of my campsite at Lake Lila in the Adirondacks of upstate New York. It was the perfect location to camp as it was isolated, close to the water and had a clear view to the south where the Milky Way presented itself in the sky. The spot was so remote that it is one of the darkest places you can find in the area, and the place where I was camping was only accessible by boat.
