Layers of Earth and Sky

Description

The Adirondacks make up a large section of upstate New York and is home to some great hiking and 46 High Peaks. These peaks are all over 4000 ft tall. This image was captured on my approach to summit Gothics. On this fairly clear day, isolated clouds floated along the sky and at this moment, the clouds had aligned in a stack which provided a perfect symmetry to the layers of mountains below.
